Giving in is both relieving and powerful. Giving in is not the same as giving up – unless “up” means giving what is not yours to control to Source.

In 2008, a teacher of mine said to me “vulnerability is true strength”, and then led me through a class to rewire my relationship with shame. In that one hour, so much was released that more space opened to replenish with fresh creativity and peace. It was a huge step in my life to feel the relief that all is indeed fully well, and that it is possible to continue creating more good.

Letting go of the blame-shame battles that aren’t serving has also been a theme that’s showed up for my students. Because the mind can be on lock down to protect defenses that were needed at one time but not now, different ways to phrase what’s happening come through. A connection of mine on Facebook, Melissa Lisette, said it brilliantly: “Surrender is not abdicating your power. It’s fully being in it.”

Today, as I was was setting the intention to pour into myself, the phrase “Giving In” came to me, and it felt relieving as I experienced more deeply how giving to myself opened the door to peace within. Suddenly by nervous system believed enough is enough and I am enough.

Giving In is about allowing inner peace to be a priority.

It’s collapsing the games of false power structures, calling your power back to you, and pouring it inwards as a foundation for loving creation.

Questions to ask yourself:
What large and tiny battles are you engaging in with others and yourself?
What is the underlying energy fueling the war? Is it a need to feel safe, a deep longing to belong, a fear of lack, or something else?
What if you stop trying to make things happen out there and direct the focus inward for a bit?

Part of growing up on a spiritual level is letting go of learning lessons and instead simply choosing to love all parts of yourself now. No matter what anyone else thinks, and even if parts of you are at war with each other. Your sovereign self is the one in charge, so reparent yourself with love straight from Divine Source.

Give in to yourself.
Connect with your inner bird eyes of view and become aware what’s going on in your mind, body, and emotions.
Focus on the flow of love within you.
Then direct the overflow into life giving actions.

Wild blessings,
