I saw my first manatees ever! They were in the bayou near where I live. As I was walking by a man alerted me to their presence.

It was a family of three and each one greeted me by swimming up to the wall’s edge where I was sitting and they took turns receiving an energy healing.

First was a large male, he stuck his nose out saying hello to begin. He was in the worst shape of them all physically. He even stuck his tail out of the water to show how it was all slashed up along the edge. When he was done receiving his healing, he sank down into the water and swam away.

Next up was a grown female, who also stuck her nose out to begin. As I was working with her on something in her lower abdomen, sudden bubbles denoted some sort of a release down there. She turned and swam away when she was done.

The young manatee was more shy and playful swimming around a bit, sticking its nose out, and coming to the wall for a little cheering from some new passersby. It also swam away before the other two got too far away.

Wild blessings,
